Dear Fathers/Sisters/Brothers/Faithful 
Archbishop Felix Toppo SJ and Ranchi Archdiocese inform you that Emeritus Cardinal Telesphore P. Toppo who was bedridden for quite some time   expired at 3:45pm am on 4th of October 2023 at Constant Lievens Hospital & Research Center, Mandar. He was 84 years of age. The Ranchi Archdiocese, Religious and Congregation will ever be grateful to him for is immense contribution in the development of the Church of Chotanagpur. Thanks to the staff of the Hospital for taking care of Emeritus Cardinal Telesphore P. Toppo in his last days. 

His mortal remains will be kept in the mortuary of Constant Lievens Hospital & Research Centre.

The corpse will be brought to the cathedral on 10th of October 2023

where the faithful will be allowed to pay the final homage from 3:00pm to 8:00 pm and

on 11th of October, 2023 from 6: am to 12:00pm.

The funeral Mass is fixed for Wednesday, 11/10/2023 at 01:00 pm at Loyola Ground, Ranchi.

Thereafter his mortal remains will be buried in St. Mary's Cathedral Ranchi.
