Canon Law # 946 "The faithful who make an offering so that Mass can be celebrated for their intention, contribute to the good of the Church, and by that offering they share in the Church's concern for the support of its ministers and its activities.

Through the Mass Offerings you can help the Ranchi Archdiocese maintain its priests and parishes. The priests pray for you and your intentions.

    You can offer masses:      
1. To thank God for favours received
2. To pray for the dear departed members of your family or friends whom God has called to himself.
3. To pray for good health
4. Any other intention e.g. for your children, peace in the family, for resolution of a difficult situation.

      A MASS CANNOT BE PRICED.It is beyond valuation.  Mass offerings can be understood as gifts to the Church or its ministers on behalf of some intention that is in the name of some person living or deceased. For the sake of clarity of the faithful, each diocese fixes a minimum offering. The normal Mass offering in the Archdiocese of Ranchi is ₹ 100 per mass. It is left to the faithful to offer more if you wish. And if you cannot afford the offering, a priest will celebrate a Mass for you. Please convey to us!

Masses to be celebrated on specific days or times or  for specific events may be arranged directly with your parish. It is difficult to accept them on line. You may however contact secretaryranchi@gmail.com with such requests.
